インドの首都ニューデリーに着いた。インドでは最後の訪問地。
We arrived at New Delhi, the capital town of India. It is a last place for us in India.


半砂漠のようなところから来た身には、その都会ぶりに目を見張る。完全にオノボリサン状態。
For those like me who came from semi-arid or desert area, New Delhi is to my eyes such a huge place.


地下鉄に驚き、（写真をとる畠山）
Subway made me surprised, Hatakeyama was even taking pictures of the train.



地下鉄駅のエスカレーターに驚き、
Escaletor in the subway station gave me a shock,



ドミノスピザに驚き、
Domino's Pizza? No way!!



マクドナルドに驚いた。ただし、当地のマックのハンバーガーはチキンのみ。ビーフは無し。10億人の人口中、8億人がヒンズー教徒なら、ビーフを出しても商売にならないのだろう。また、メニューはベジタリアン（緑）とノンベジタリアン（赤）に分かれている。
MacDonald gave me a shock. However, only chicken barger is available. No beef barger. 800 million out of 1 billion population are Hindu, so there may be no hope for beef business here, I think. As for menu, it is devided into two, one for vegitalian (green), and another for non-veg.



ビーフなど諦めていたら、ステーキで有名なTGI Friday？　ビーフあるんですか？　と驚いた。
TGI Friday? How about your holly cow?? Is beaf available here??



結局、畠山とマックでマックシェークとフィレオフィッシュバーガーを食べ、昨晩はピザハットでパンピザを食べた。女子学生たちもマックだったらしい。カレーから逃れられるだけで、幸せな気がする。
Hatakeyama and I ate Mac Shake and FileoFish barger. Then last night, I went Pizza Hut and ate pan pizza. As for girls students, they told me that they also went to Mac. For me, being able to escape from curry is already happy enough.


そういえば、先日、学生たちが
The other day, my students were screaming like below:-


フジモリ　「肉食いてぇー」
佑木　「肉食べたいー」
畠山　「吉野家の牛丼食べてー」
と叫んでいた。
Fujimori said, "I wana eat meat!"
Yuki said, "I need meat!"
Hatakeyama said, "I want to go to Yoshinoya Beef Bowl shop!"

「ニューデリーに着いたら冷やし中華」と、かなり期待していたのですが、ここにはあるんだかないんだか不明で。。。
I was strongly hoping to eat cold noodle named Hiyashi Chuuka noodle in New Delhi, but not available here, seems like.....
